nena_h says: I think this novel cover fits the title of the novel so well. I like that the flower pedals are a vibrant blue but everything else is in black and white. It adds a more mysterious and emotional tone that pulls the audience closer.

nena_h says: My first thought was, "wow. how did someone do this?" Especially with ink, because that's not as easy as it seems. I like how the faded part kind of looks like she's being forced out of her own identity. It's very abstract.

nena_h says: Dogs are my favorite thing in the whole universe so I was pretty biased when I took this picture. But she did a fantastic job, knowing exactly where she had to put color and exactly where she had to put the greys and whites.

nena_h says: I LOVE this mosaic of Bolt. The colors are vibrant, the work is very detailed. You can tell that this person actually put a lot of time and patience into this piece. It doesn't look messy at all.

nena_h says: This beautiful mosaic of two males who seem like they're in love tells such a deep story behind it. It actually makes you think about same-sex relationships and how society views it. I like how the man on the left is all "colors" while the man on the right is all "dark." I think that was intentional.

nena_h says: I think as I was viewing through all of the pastels of ballerinas, this one was the only one that didn't have an actual face. It's interesting. The man's back is very detailed and there's a great balance between the highlights and shadows.

nena_h says: I like the use of pastels here. She knew exactly where the light would bounce off the model so she drew the highlights there. I like that the ballerina's outfit is detailed.

nena_h says: Otari is probably the most talented person I've ever met. You can really see his passion for art in his self-portrait. The eyes are very detailed where it actually makes the self-portrait look real. The nose structure is so refined and everything is very sharp which helps bring out her face features.

nena_h says: This is probably my favorite pastel of the ballerinas. There's kind a different touch to it. Probably because of the pose and how she added the block that says "ART." She did a good job with the shadows and added a well balance of tones.

nena_h says: One thing that really caught my eye was the subject's eyes. The glimpses of highlight really brings it out. The fur is so delicate and you can't see it that well until she brings out the highlights on the lower part which makes it more eye-captivating. Very realistic.
