LEGO® Mecabricks HDR Maps
Different #HDR. Different Lighting. Different Look.
I went through the archives of my studio and started to collect HDR images we shot over the last 10 years for different projects and commercials.
HDR means High Dynamic Range. A HDR map will be shot with an 8 mm fish-eye lens in 4 to 8 parts with different exposures from low to high to capture the lighting and environment as a full panoramic picture. The more exposures you shoot the higher is the dynamic range for a method called "Image Based Lighting".
I have rendered a couple of examples how a different HDR map will affect the look of the same scene. We shot HDR images on film locations, in photostudios and natural outdoor situations.
These pictures are planned to add to the #Mecabricks Render Farm. #b3d #HighDynamicRange #ImageBasedLighting #PanoramicPhotography
