Effects of mist

 

Pools of flickering light

Busting through mists of ghostlike shadowy clouds

Drifting aimlessly over the fertile terra firma

Casting surging patterns of light and dark

Within their own haunting manifesting shimmering hues

Rolling hills hidden within

Gasping for a moment to shine forth dressed within its finest greenery

While vapours cascading

Leaving behind vaporous dewy droplets

Sea mist rising to meet the undulating clouds

As they silently begin to take each entice and tempt to take control

A vocal battle reverberations permeates the exasperated universes

While they struggle to amalgamate

Only to be distracted

By the vague sound of an isolated foghorn

Forewarning of what perils lie ahead

For the unprepared voyager as it disappear within the lurking veil

That lays a head to capture within the raging squall.
