Bubbles
With my camera, I tried to paint of portrait of the person I am today, and these images symbolize different aspects of my personality and interests. This first photograph of the bubbles from the Piazzale Michelangelo represents my sense of fun, as I think that everyone should still hold on to their inner child and enjoy life. In my second picture, which is a beautiful shot of the Arno River, I capture my love of water. When I first learned how to swim, it became nearly impossible to get me out of the water! I’ve always loved the ocean, and I know how to surf (like a true Californian) and scuba. My third picture, of the window, represents my introverted nature. I am more of a homebody and have a reserved nature, and I’m hoping that this trip will help me become more extraverted and spontaneous. The picture of the clouds symbolizes my dream and goal oriented nature. I find that achieving goals and aspirations is extremely important, and so therefore I have put a lot of effort and hard work into making my dreams come true. My current dream at is at the moment becoming a doctor, being able to help people is something that I really value. The final picture I took is of a small football field off of the Arno River. It really reminded me of how, back home, every day I would walk my dog to the park near my house. I have a deep love for nature, including animals and the football field reminded me of that. In many ways, cameras and photographs can help capture so much and can really help express emotions and traits.
