FOIA Request Regarding My Candidacy for President of the United States
NOTE TO RECIPIENT: I obtained your email address from the National League of Cities ( www.nlc.org/) and/or one of its affiliate state office websites. I understand the National League of Cities is the major association having members who are public servants at municipalities - cities - townships - villages - and so on. I know that employer email domains (e.g. ".GOV", ".US") may not be used by you for NLC purposes; therefore, I can't distinguish who you represent. The United States Election Assistance Commission (www.eac.gov)) has not yet responded with the information I need to communicate directly with the local Election Offices; therefore, I thought I would try this method. I do not know whether you are the correct person to whom the following FOIA request should be submitted; however, I am requesting you "Forward" this email to the Election Office where you registered to vote and anywhere else you think may be helpful. You may, of course, read the FOIA Request I am submitting to the "Election Official". It is possible for you to receive multiple copies of this email in the event you have registered different email addresses with the National League of Cities. I do have a USPS mailbox at PO Box 1010, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49501; however, I am not really staffed to manage paper mail... I really need to use email to communicate with others. Election Official:
Pursuant FOIA, your state public access laws, and any other laws known to apply... I am requesting a copy of the electronic file(s) of the data recorded on all political party's local delegates Affidavit of Identity, at a minimum, on file for the 2012 and 2016 Presidential election cycles. I understand the primary purpose is establishing residency. It is possible your jurisdiction uses a different term other than "Delegate" but it serves essentially the same purpose. For example, this is a link to Michigan's form... www.michigan.gov/documents/Aff-ID_Precnt_139901_7.pdf . I understand the electronic file may contain data in addition to that contained on such Affidavit of Identity, however, the entire electronic file(s) should be forwarded to me even though it contains information not requested herein. I have no reason to disguise my purpose for wanting the electronic file; therefore, I will state my objective is to offer these political party delegates the opportunity to both, (1) serve as my Electors to the Electoral College, and (2) participate in a lottery system whereby he/she may be able to attend my inauguration in January, 2017. It will be their individual decision and they will, of course, be able to maintain their loyalty to whatever political party he/she chooses. I have already publicly made such commitments at blog.charlesdriggers.com/change-of-strategy/ . These delegates are people who experience the same obstacles as everyone else and I intend to empower them to continue contributing to society in whatever manner he/she personally desires...Our country needs their activism and passionate pursuit of a better US society. My goal is simple... I want to contribute my skills and passion for doing some public good... public good which will make our world safer for future generations. I will not do any of the following:
1. Incorporate any political party or for-profit business to generate revenue based on the use of the data contained in the electronic file. I am one person and not part of a larger group or association of people.
2. Solicit donations from anyone including but not limited to the individuals contained in the electronic files to be provided to me pursuant FOIA.
3. Sell, rent, or generate revenue by any means from the use of data brokers as done by other politicians. The email addresses will be destroyed upon either (1) Unsubscribing to my blog to which he/she voluntarily Subscribed from his/her personal computing device, or (2) at the conclusion of my Presidency where I will also destroy their physical address, whichever comes first.
4. I will not pass the baton to another individual, per se, as I have not requested or contributed in any way to encourage any group of people sharing a common ideology to pass the baton to me. 5. Request, verbal or written, binding pledges to support me with the Electoral College process.
I have come to understand local government Election Offices located throughout the US at places including but not limited to municipalities - villages - townships - counties - cities separately maintain its own database (e.g. Excel spreadsheet) of the data recorded on the above described Affidavit of Identity. I have developed my understanding in consultation with the US Federal Election Commission (FEC), several state Election offices (SOS), a County Clerk's Election Director, major political party administrators, and other methods. I understand the requested data may be accumulated at taxpayer expense and is provided to local county political party representatives... it doesn't really matter who subsidizes the maintenance of the electronic files because it is and always will be a public document subject to FOIA and other state public access laws. Finally, it is reasonable for me to assume you are likely to maintain the electronic file(s) I am requesting; otherwise, you would be required to access and summarize such data from the actual hard copy of the Affidavit of Identity as reporting needs may demand.
There comes a time when it is necessary to trust and believe in a person whom you may not even know or heard of...This is one of those times. Please REPLY to this email with a copy of the electronic file(s) as requested. Thanks.

An email contains embedded electronic information which can be used to authenticate its author as being me. Emails forwarded by you to others will have different embedded electronic information so it will not authenticate as an original communication from me. The person/organization in possession of my emails have a document which has or will have value to others. The value will increase as time passes in much the same manner as Benjamin Franklin's Papers, Abraham Lincoln's Papers, Dead Sea Scrolls, and other artifacts discovered by archeologists. I recommend you save your copy of my emails onto a personal USB memory/flash stick. For example, Microsoft Outlook only requires you to execute File -> Save As -> change "Save as type" to "Outlook Message Format - Unicode" -> leave the "File Name" field as defaulted. Of course, you'll need to save the file to your USB memory/flash stick device at the top of the "Save As" dialog box. You are done... you'll have your original digital copy as proof of the part you played in history with me personally. Furthermore, I suggest you save all my email communications with you upon receipt while keeping the digital media in a safe place at home or in a bank safety deposit box.

Who really knows the value of my digital communications 2,000 years from now because many of them will be lost by natural or man-made disasters, discarded in landfills, stored in attics only to be found by your descendants, or simply overwritten/deleted by an unsuspecting person.
