Remote Start Christmas Gift
If you received a California Custom Sounds or Stereo-In-Dash remote start system as a gift, then congratulations; you’re going to LOVE it! Here’s the lowdown on what to do next:
- Locate your unique Work Order number (written on your gift box) and your Easy Installation Guide.
- Check the Easy Installation Guide to see if your install appointment has already been scheduled. If so, then please note the time and location. If not, then please call your CCS/SID location of choice as soon as possible. We’ll need to know the Work Order number from your gift box. We’ll also verify your vehicle’s details.
- If you need to reschedule your appointment, that’s fine, but please do it soon! Our installation schedule is VERY busy, after the holidays!
- Please plan on leaving your car with us for an entire day. This allows us to deliver the highest quality installation without cutting corners. Due to the nature of remote start installation, exact completion times are impossible to predict. Rest assured our crew is working diligently and is prepared to stay late if necessary to complete your install.
- Please bring two (2) ignition keys and your gift box with you. (If you don’t have two keys, then please contact us to discuss your options. We can often provide the most affordable replacements.)
- If you didn’t get the exact remote start that you really wanted, then now is a good time to upgrade to another model with additional features (like extended range options, smart phone compatibility, and/or alarm functionality). We’ll simply ask you to pay the difference at the time of installation.
