EX-SR Maunsell U Class 2-6-0s no's 31638 and 31806 stand forlorn amongst many other condemned steam locomotives at Woodhams Bros Barry Scrapyard, South Wales, on 3rd March 1968. Happily these two engines eventually escaped into preservation.
