Quickly sketched from the original Vincent Van Gogh painting
which at the time was on display at the Palace of the Legion of Honor
in San Francisco, California (my first visit, together with my late wife)
... It was a rather small painting and this sketch is taken from a sketchbook wherein all the other drawings
are dated 2009, but I'm not sure if this is from 2009 as well although it could well be
