At the time this photograph was taken, service NX1 operated LIMITED STOP from Victoria to Gillingham via Westminster, Trafalgar Square, New Cross, Welling Corner, Bexleyheath, Crayford, Dartford, Greenhithe, Swanscombe, Northfleet, Gravesend, Chalk, Higham, Strood, Rochester and Chatham.
The return journeys operated as the outward journeys from Gillingham to Strood then NON-STOP to Bexley and then NON-STOP to Trafalgar Square or New Cross Gate.
Service NX1 operated 19/20 October 1990 until 2/3 October 1993.
