Wood Duck

While more than 270 species of birds, 21 species of mammals and 347 species of plants have been recorded at the Inglewood Sanctuary and Nature Centre in Calgary, the wood duck is one of my favorites.

 

They often hang on a fallen tree, posing for photographers.
