New Work Space

An update of my new writing space. Same physical location, just not as neat. The Thinkpad T570 has now been elevated on a walnut stand so the screen is in a better position and I have the AZIO retro classic keyboard and mouse.

 

The keyboard is wonderful. Not quite the kick of the buckling springs on my Unicomp keyboard (which is now on my desktop, where I do everything except writing), but the travel is nice nd the click feedback is just enough to be satisfying. A very comfortable keyboard to type on and looks amazing.

 

The mouse is an overpriced indulgence and matches te keyboard. Well, not really overpriced—it really is a very fine mouse, has enough of a control panel on the underside to require several pages in a user guide (if you are a gamer, you can change dpi, lol), a rechargable battery, a metal mouse wheel that is a joy to use and a textured leather covering that feels great. I just mean, I probably didn't need a fancy mouse, but, well... hey, they were both on sale.

 

I think I'm set. Now I need to get some writing done. :D
