The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. The goal of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to continue Stephen¹s legacy by supporting our nation¹s first responders and service members. Building for America¹s Bravest, a program of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, constructs specially adapted smart homes for our most catastrophically injured service members.
Maxons Restorations participated in this year's Tunnel to Towers Run (5K), which retraces the path Stephen Siller took that day through the abandoned tunnel back into Manhattan to help after the towers fell.
