Vegas Moon Panorama
After my first moon shot of September 23, I told myself I wanted to “hunt” all of the phases of the moon. I was planning to get 15 phases, but I ended up getting 9, because unless I took some during the day or having to wake up at 4am… 15 would take months. It took me almost 2 months to get those 9 phases. Sometimes the clouds were hiding the moon so I had to wait two more weeks for a certain phase.
I took this Vegas picture on my way back from the desert, I stopped on the side of the freeway around midnight and took a long exposure shot of a car passing fast. I found it perfect to add all of my moon phases.
Moons and dates from left to right:
11/16/15 - 10/21/15 - 09/23/15 - 10/26/15 - 09/27/15 - 09/29/15 - 11/01/15 - 10/04/15 - 11/05/15
All taken with either Canon t3i at 300mm or Canon ES Powershot+Binoculars.
Vegas shot taken with the kit lens.
