ISO 10000 with "some" post process noise reduction

Over all... Not so bad. Was interesting to find out that ISO doesn't increase sensitivity of the sensor, it adds brightness. Noise from the sensor is inherent regardless of the ISO setting. With enough light the image drowns out the already present noise, With to little light, and increased gain of higher ISOs (increased brightness) noise becomes more obvious? Ok so what if I set the ISO to Auto and add exposure compensation and then instead of bringing up the exposure in post, the shadows and the blacks or brightness, I instead decrease the exposure make appropriate adjustments to color and bring the highlights up a bit? I have one image with no EV compensation and this one with it bringing up the exposure 2 stops and then reducing it in Photoshop. A lot less noise with the EV comp so a lot less noise reduction in post.. On this image.

Instead of bringing the exposure up in post why not a slightly higher exposure and the reduce it in Raw editor and bury a bunch of the noise in the shadows I want anyway?
