Channeling Emotions
I find this picture quite powerful and really draws you in. I was really pleased at how this shot turned out due to the emotion, the fact it is just Ellie and there is nothing to clutter the picture, the lighting - especially highlights in her hair and the depth created by the bokeh and the rogue strands of hair on her right front. Ellie did a great job trying different looks and channeling different emotions throughout this set. When we compared our thoughts on this picture afterwards, we both had similar impressions on the emotion it conveys - one of vulnerability and the strength it takes to allow one's self to be vulnerable.
