In today's society, women and men are both held to an impossible standard of beauty. There is an expectation for women to have the perfect body, the perfect curves in "all the right places," a face with no imperfections, perfectly healthy, long, flowing hair, and a smile that could stop traffic. For men, it is perfectly sculpted abs, strong facial features, tall, muscular build, "manly". Then whenever someone embraces their own version beauty, they are judged for it.
