Unacceptable Rypstra
1980 (7) (WS) On the Move
Over a month later, and there are definitely fewer tree frogs to be found at the pond. They are now about half way between the froglet and full adult size.
I became obsessed with trying to capture them while they are on the move. A small window of opportunity for when they move, they do so relatively quickly. It was challenging to be in position, get a good focus on one so small, and do so before leaves, branches or reeds blocked one's view. Out of a whole summer of trying, this is one of my better shots.
It is climbing up a blackberry bramble to find an ideal spot to rest and wait for prey to come near enough to capture.
