Unacceptable Rypstra
090 (3) (WS) After the Climb [Explored]
I had the pleasure this fall to stumble on a place where the Pacific Tree Frogs, (Pseudacris regilla), were in abundance.
This frog has just finished climbing up the reeds (using the one to the left of the frame), early in the morning, and performed it's ablutions (cleaning legs and face). It has now settled down to rest and hunt.
I have uploaded a simple introductory type video: two clips of frogs riding the reeds as they bounce and sway in wind gusts. It can be viewed at the following link:
Note: Due to genetic analysis, the Pacific Tree Frog's Latin name has been officially changed from Hyla regilla, to Pseudacris regilla in 2006.

Note: Although I love favs, I will typically respond only to those who leave a comment.
