024 (2) Feeding's Done
A shot from the Roberts Bay Eagle nest last spring. The Red-tailed Hawk is on the far right and missed the feeding. This shot is shortly after my "Little Beggar" shot, which I will put in the first comment box below.
I am revisiting this story tonight, because a new documentary with never before seen footage of this event was released on UTube today. It was put together, and filmed by Christian Sasse. If you have 20+ minutes, do watch it, as some of the footage of the hawk interacting with it's adoptive family is amazing.
