104 (2) Water Jellyfish

A Water Jellyfish (Aequorea spp.) showing blue bioluminescence in a dark tank at Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre, Sidney, BC.

 

They occur in coastal waters from southeast Alaska to southern California and are 5 " wide and 1 1/2 " high.
