Unacceptable Rypstra
112 (3) Center of Attention [P]
This is Tundra again (90% Wolf/Dog cross): the center of attention as she checks out her surroundings at the local library. She likes to examine every place she visits, so although it doesn't look like it, a fairly wide aisle-way was left for her to traverse to the back of the room.
After the video and talk about the wolves, the spectators are given strict instructions not to talk or make noise at all while she is brought into the room. This is for Tundra's comfort levels, for otherwise she will not relax and will want to leave.
She was really well behaved and more relaxed on this visit than when we saw her first, around 6 1/2 years ago. Although she looks a bit rankled from an unexpected touch, in the next couple of frames, her expression relaxed and she looked more dog-like. I rather like her expression here though. Her wolf side is showing through, and she looks out of place.
May we treat wolves with the respect they deserve, and allow them to live in the wild where they long to be.
