101 (2) Sidney's Dock
The dock in Sidney, B.C. (projecting into Haro Strait), where many people partake in crabbing for supper. The kids love to see what else comes up in the crab traps that are thrown over the side.
At some point in Sidney's history, a lot of molten iron mixed with broken glass and garbage was dumped along the shore. The resulting rust has stained many of the rocks a bright orange.
