086 (2) Pacific Tree Frog
The Pacific Tree Frog (Hyla regilla). As the throat is pale and unwrinkled, this is a female of the species.
When my oldest son came back from blueberry picking last week, and said he saw three tree frogs that day, my photography wheels started to turn... This morning, (after obtaining permission), he and I returned to 'row 2' to go tree frog hunting. (Blueberry season now being over). It was a wonderful morning where we espied 10 frogs. I'm planning on going back tomorrow morning!! (Taken in North Saanich, BC).
