043 (2) Purple Shore Crab

A Purple Shore Crab (Hemigrapsus nudus) found along Tsehum Harbour shores, hiding under rocks when the tide is out. I placed it on a mat of Graceful Green Hair Seaweed (probably Cadophora sericea).

 

This time I used supplemental diffused light, and the results are so much nicer...I had been wanting to do a re-shoot of this guy for awhile now.
