Mersey Rail unit 777148 forming train,

2F37 14.41 Headbolt Lane (Kirkby)-Liverpool Central.

The albeit short run from Kirkby up to Headbolt lane, and return, is made under battery power. (they were not flat, honest)

The Red tail markers, along with the now extinguished front lights, look like battery state indicators, well to me, anyhow ;-))
