Immediate Response
POSTOJNA, Slovenia - More than 1400 participants, including U.S. Service Members, took part in two opening ceremonies held for the multinational exercise Immediate Response 15. The ceremonies took place in Postojna, Slovenia and one in Slunj, Croatia, on September 9, 2015. Immediate Response 15 is an annual exercise designed to provide opportunities to plan and synchronize missions and responsibilities among allied and partnered nations to enhance combat readiness and compatibility in the current operational environment. This year’s participants include contingents from Slovenia, Croatia, The United States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and United Kingdom.
