angeljaslow says: I like the way the highlights are really illuminated and the background is really dark so the contrast is really strong and beautiful. The colors of the orange paint handle along with the chalk also stand out really well on the black backdrop and white cloth.

angeljaslow says: I like how the white background seems to make the bright colors of the fruits and vegetables pop. The side-by-side variety of colors from red, to purple, to a tan, to green, causes a nice appeal to the eyes, The texture of the different objects are really nice to look at also.

angeljaslow says: I like how the texture of the sponge is really sharp and apparent in this photo along with how the black and white edit makes the highlight of the sponge bounce off of the entirely black background. The holes in the sponge also are a nice touch when considering the texture because of how the holes consist of a pitch black.

angeljaslow says: The dramatic lighting in this photo is really nice considering the highlight on the apple and then the complete shadow of the apple on the other side. The black background blends with the shadow nicely too, to create an even more dramatic touch. This picture probably wouldn't of been achieved with a white or gray background.

The color of the orange and apple also contribute to this picture's beauty and contrast. The bumpy texture of the orange and smooth texture of the apple in comparison is good too.

angeljaslow says: This was a very unique object to work with when considering this unit of photography. I like how the contrast of the white object on the black, dark background. I also like though how the highlights aren't too harsh and prominent in this photo, while the main focus point is the shadows; creating a very nice low-lighting photo.

angeljaslow says: I like the bright orange color when placed next to the ripple textured white background. The texture of the of the orange object also is really nice, creating a very veiny look with the strands emitting from it. The variety of the orange shades is very nice too for a white background, really displaying and showing off it's texture and colors.

angeljaslow says: I like the editing in this photo, the dramatic lighting, and the textures of the fruits and vegetables. The editing creating the hue of an in-between of red and orange for all of the objects in contrast with the deep shadows and texture is really cool and draws my eye.
