Aperture Project

In this project I learned how different apertures change the depth of field. I also learned how to balance out the shutter speed and the aperture for the perfect exposure. The first picture has shallow depth of field because i changed the aperture to 4.0 which made it blurry in the background but the foreground subject is in focus. The second picture is in between shallow and great depth of field because i set the aperture to 11 which made the background not as blurry as the first and the foreground subject is still in focus. The third picture has a great depth of field because i set the aperture to 22 which made the background and the foreground in focus. I took these pictures because I knew that the plant would make a great foreground subject and the plants in the back would make a great background for shallow and great depths of field. Overall, I had a great time with this project.
