Al acecho – Lurking

A primera hora seguimos a un grupo de 4 leonas adultas y 5 cachorros diferentes. La hembra de la foto comenzó a perseguir a cierta distancia a una pequeña manada de ñus, iba caminando, dejándose ver siempre y sin acosarlos.

Pero la maniobra consistía en que las otras tres leonas iban por diferentes caminos preparando la emboscada. Resultaba increíble la manera en la que cada una desempeñaba su función, como si lo hubieran ensayado mil veces.

Al final cogieron a un joven ñu, tengo la secuencia completa pero no la hago pública por la crueldad de las imágenes.

 

First thing in the morning, we’ve followed a group of 4 adult lionesses and 5 different puppies. The female of the photo began to chase at a discreet distance to a small herd of wildebeest, she was walking, always showing herself and without harassing them.

But the maneuver was in that other 3 lionesses were going for different ways, to prepare the ambush. I just couldn’t believe how each lioness performed its function, as if they had tested it thousand times.

At the end they caught a young wildebeest. I have the complete sequence but I don’t publish it because of the cruelty of the images.
