This is a demonstrator which is being tested in London for the route 69. These buses are an innovative investment for Tower Transit who have moved to Virtual Electric technology, which allows the buses to charge in major bus stations (Canning Town and Walthamstow Central) during stand time.
As a new tender for Tower Transit, the 69 shall use 3 of these buses on the route this month including some more existing buses.
It is quite vague to say what fleet codes prefixes these will have. Many people think they could start with VE, very obvious in the title or even DNH, to continue with the existing hybrids in Tower Transits fleet.
For the mean time, these will trial on this route
