Leaf Cutter Bee

A Leaf Cutter Bee (Megachile medica Cresson). They make a nest made from pieces leaves that resembles a cigar. The nest is sectioned off into several chambers that hold pollen, honey and a single egg. When they emerge from the egg there will be enough food for the young bee to eat until it pupates.
