'Bridesmaid' 1971 Sindy Fashion

Sindy had yet to stand bride herself, but were often asked to be a bridesmaid.

 

This year she was given a cute, pink floral dress with short puff sleeves and an elasticated waist trimmed with white lace. She wore a pair of white kitten heels, chic yet comfortable.

 

It included a matching headscarf and a bouquet looking like a whirligig made out of cotton candy. (That I don't have yet)

Me: If you had caught that bouquet, your chances of being a bride could have increased.

 

Sindy: That's just superstition. Besides, I'm too young to marry.

 

Me: Says who?

 

Sindy: Pedigree. They won't give me a wedding gown until 1974.

 

Me: No I meant about the superstition. I mean, it could be true.

 

Sindy: You mean like it's bad luck to step under ladders and watch black cats dancing the conga while tossing salt on itchy palms?

 

Me: Er... the last bit is highly unlikely..

 

Sindy: My point exactly.
