Barred Owlet
A few of the many photos taken of the Barred Owlets over the last two months as the nest was alongside a lakeside walking trail.
While doing our usual early morning walk with our dog we would occasionally see an owl(s) and stop briefly for a photo or two.
The photo on the top left was May 30th, the first day the two owlets emerged from the nest and this was the actual tree the nest was in. They had climbed to the top of it and apparently soon fluttered to a nearby tree where the adults were.
The owlets are doing fine and have moved a considerable distance away from the original site.
