Swamp Mats, Erosion Control and Environmental Stewardship

A dozen swamp mats were set in place for trucks, personnel and equipment to travel over on the way into and out of the project site. As we reached the wet area at the edge of a field used to access the right of way, equipment used to carry and place swamp mats was used to place the mats before we crossed the area on the way in. All truck and equipment exited the field when the project was complete, and the equipment used to place the swamp mats was then used to retrieve the mats, leaving the wet section of access roadway in the same condition it was in when the team arrived.
