When storms blow through the desert and the coachella valley the weather can turn very quickly. It also results in some dramatic scenes as well as photographic opportunities around the golf courses at PGA WEST and other desert courses, especially those near the mountains. In this particular case the clouds began to break over the tournament course at PGA WEST and a positioned myself behind the 6th green of the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA WEST with my hasselblad H3D-50 and was able to capture numerous dramatic photos before the sunset behind the mountains to my right.
