37423 Banklands
Another of my favourites back in the day, 37423 "Spirit of the Lakes" had only just returned to action in revised DRS decals; the first loco to receive this treatment. As fresh out the box as it was, you could even smell its fresh lick of paint.
The picturesque line of hawthorne blossom provide a nice bit of Spring colour to a warm and sunny day, as the tractor is seen rumbling southwards with the 6Z40 09.39 Crewe Coal Sidings-Devonport on Thursday 15th May 2014 - the infrequent MOD submarine flask working to the Royal Naval Dockyard in Plymouth (Re-uploaded image).
