Lost your way, Poseidon?

He is not a god of the forest. In Greek mythology Poseidon was the god of the sea, as well as of horses and, as "Earth-Shaker," of earthquakes.

 

In the 16th century these statues were built in many Italian gardens. Nowadays you can also admire them in the Statue Wood of "World garden" Mondo Verde in the Netherlands
