Rooftop Patio

The Radisson Hotel At Toronto Harbourfront/ Rooftop Pool

Another adventure to my “life is what you make it summer”. Just because you don't own a cottage does not mean you can't life it up and have a taste of the marine life. With stunning views of Lake Ontario and downtown, the Radisson Admiral Hotel Toronto-Harbourfront offers a beautiful setting for work and leisure. This hard-to-beat location offers two transportation hubs, Union Station and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport ), less than two kilometres from the hotel. The double decker bus can offer trips to key destinations and a view of the city. I soaked up the sun at the on-site SPLASH Pool Patio and Terrace overlooking Lake Ontario and the CN Tower, one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World. There are plenty of pool chairs for lounging between dips and catching a cool lake breeze. The one's in the sun are coveted so you will have to make like a sundial and move around. You can order food and drinks. Day passes cost $40 and each pass includes two towels and access to shower and locker facilities, but you will need to bring your own lock which I didn't. Things were safe on the deck. The police marine unit is below, so a safe place to be. The scene from the balcony is constantly changing with the crowd, watercraft and weather. The staff was professional and courteous. I went by myself but my trusty Nikon is my sidekick and old friend.
