The getaway car...
There were only 3 types of cars in her world: the boyfriend car, the family car and then - the getaway car with plenty of room for stash, random hookers, automatic weapons and dead guys.
"The getaway car is what I want" she thought and stared longingly at a Mercury Marquis Sedan, 1974 model. It was anonymous yet with overtones of evil, something that never failed to get her juices flowing. If anything it proved how little she knew about motors.... this cop-show piece of machinery was not practical - so low it would touch the ground at any little bump in the road but - it was forgettable. Being white and not her favourite colour which was mustard yellow - it was so easily forgettable.... potential witnesses would most likely confuse it with a different model, and by the time anyone figured out just what had happened...she would have crossed the border...
