Northern Brown Argus (M)

A late season male swaying in the summer breeze at Arnside Knott in Cumbria (UK) (9536).

The single-brooded salmacis form found in northern England is generally finished by the end of July, but as a result of this year's late emergence, a few 'respectable' individuals were still on the wing this late in the season.
