that makes us truly thankful
for the light that comes
goodness of our hearts is plentiful
shine bright and let it radiate
the light that is within us all
lighten darkness for your neighbour
brighten every day this Fall
continue each and every day
no matter what the time of year
for we should be for ever thankful
for the light that drives out fear
fear is at the heart of those
who do not embrace the light
we give a thought to those who keep
us safe from every mortal fight
let all those who gave up their lives
be recognised; remembered
give thanks for them; their sacrifice
give light and life to all world members
praise the everlasting light
who gave His only son
so that we should live our lives
so warm and brightly as the sun
it only takes a tiny spark
to set the world alight
let your inner beauty shine
love everyone; ease every plight
the milk of human kindness is
the gift that keeps on giving
extend a hand in friendship now
join hands in prayer; love all the living
for we are one and we are all
friends; neighbours; family
shine forth the light within you now
let love win eternally
no need to shout or raise in anger
a fist towards an unseen foe
let love shine from our hearts and soul
let all the hate and anger go
leave it behind; it's foul intentions
will never beat us down
for we can live in harmony
just you and me; the love we've found
tell it to the ones who doubt
let them feel your presence
drive the darkness in them out
time is of the very essence.
