and all those I've yet to meet

thank you for being there for me

for helping me back on my feet

thank you for showing me the light of day

and pulling me from out of the dark

and thank you for listening to all my woes

and letting me make my mark

for I've found a place to call my own

and every day is a new beginning

there's no time to lose; let's start
