Eye Candy Rayna Ahmadi - Upgrade Doll 2018
It seems that every year IT focuses on one or two sculpts. Last year that was Giselle and we got: Majesty (as preorder), Feeling Wild (at IFDC) and Wanderlust (at the convention). The other sculpt was Erin: Heiress (mainline), Metamorphosis (Club doll) and 24k (convention doll). I think this year Rayna is on the spotlight. We got this upgrade offer and she will be at the convention, as well. She might be a Club doll, too. I do not mind that as I found new love for this sculpt, which has been totally neglected by me. I got this doll long time ago and I figured I should do the review before the flood we are expecting in two days.
Makeup/Hairstyle: When this doll was announced I was floored, she is everything I like. Still, I missed her wonky right eye on the promos. Yes, it was there... But, photos were taken from the angle so I missed it. Of-course, that was translated well to the production doll. Her right eye seems to be pushed up more than the left. I noticed that reflection dot on that eye is positioned higher than on the left. I already fixed mine, but I really wish we could stop fixing mistakes in screenings. It really is such a shame because the makeup and her overall appearance is flawless. She has beautiful two/toned eyes, metalic light blue eyeshadow under the eyes and brown airbrushed eyeshadow above the eyes. She is a beauty with those pale red lips. The hair is also very nice, she is rooted just right, perfect amount of hair and the color is very nice. Just because of that flaw in the screening, which all dolls have, not just mine, I have to give her: 8/10
Outfit/Accessories: I was surprised how well the jumpsuit is made. It is completely lined and fits perfectly. I have used it a lot for different looks. But, be warned, straps are quite fragile, you might rip them if you do not pay attention. She comes with lots of accessories. I love the bag which is inspired by Iliana Sergeenko haute couture bags. Surprisingly, I love the shoes and I didn't like how they looked on promos, they fit nicely and the do not look big on her. The necklace is everything. For the price, I think they gave as a lot. 9.5/10
Overall: I think she is a keeper if you manage to fix her eyes. She is very beautiful. Still, she didn't manage to overthrow Neo-romantic, the only other Rayna that resides here. 8.5/10
