Aira Force Waterfall
Aira Force is waterfall which can be found in the Lake District in the civil parish of Matterdale.
The water flowing under the bridge falls approximately 22 metres to a rocky pool, from where it continues its journey through a shallow valley to the lake known as Ullswater.
In my opinion the picture doesn't do it justice, in real life the waterfall appears large and extremely powerful. You get a nice gentle spray when standing at the viewing point (which made it difficult to keep the camera clean).
