The College Life

Last but not least, this snapshot from my dorm room in Torres House is all about my education. While college courses and exams can be extremely stressful at times (or most times), I always work long and hard every single day to be the best student that I can be and receive the best grades that I possibly can. I was raised to hold myself to a high standard, and that continues to this very day. In this snapshot, it was a Saturday morning with a home football game later that afternoon. While everyone else was out and about, I stayed in to get ahead in my studying and make my week a lot less stressful later on. With there being an exam in my Physiology class every single week, I've really needed to stay on task and have good time management skills. By capturing the layout of my morning - what with the stack of practice exams, keys, previous exams, online discussion boards, and snacks - it really shows how dedicated I am to be a good student. My goal is to receive all A's this semester and make the Dean's list, then eventually get into graduate school and receive a Master's Degree. All I want is to make my parents proud of me and to set a good example for my younger siblings.
