Porthmoina Mill, Bosigran, Zennor, Cornwall
This mill is located above Porthmoina Cove near the cliffs at Bosigran.
Porthmoina Mill is a late 18th to early 19th century water-powered tin stamping and dressing mill. The mill went out of use sometime between 1842 and 1876, however despite being abandoned a long time ago it is recognised as being well preserved. The National Trust carried out some conservation work on a revetment wall in the mid 1990's following concerns that it was unstable. The mill is likely to have been associated with the nearby Carn Galva tin mine at the head of the valley.
This aerial view looking toward the S.W. was taken at a height of 50 metres using an Inspire Pro 1 UAV equipped with an X5 camera.
