Stag

Tatton Park in Cheshire has a lot of deer wandering around it. You can get pretty close to many of them and they don't seem to mind. There was a herd of them lying down in the sun, and then a couple of the stags got up and began to walk towards some trees by the road. I noticed the first stag seemed to walk past a gap in the tree line where the light from the sky would allow for a great contrasted capture and the trees themselves created a frame around the subject. I pointed my camera and waited for the second stag; his antlers were even more magnificent than the first. He took the same line as the other stag and I managed to time the shot just right.
