ORECA LMP2 07

Going back and forth between what the EOS-R gives me versus the EOS-R5. Aside from a little less resolution and a lot less photos, I'm just not seeing a big enough difference in what quality can be gotten from the R5.

I spent the majority of the summer testing the R5 and have found it to work nicely in some situations that say the EOS-R didn't, but when using good glass like what I used here, that seemed to be the difference maker more than the camera.

I like the idea of really having to think and plan exactly where I want to capture it and have found that the EOS-R, gave me 3 shots in a corner like this versus the R5 giving me about 15-20. Sure, I could pick which one I want but who wants to cull through a bazillion photos?

The one odd thing I noticed (there were a few) was that the teleconverters seemed to work better on the EOS-R than they did on the R5. Perhaps that was due to a slower frame rate and more time to calculate the AF than what the R5 could do.

Still need more info and more testing to be done. Will need to wait til next year most likely to do so.
