Stranger #47 - Richard

When Richard said 'I'm a professional photographer,' I wanted to say 'oh, ok, bye then.'

 

But I bravely continued - nervously twiddling the settings on the camera and snapping away like a novice.

 

Richard was a really nice lad - a Londoner that had been dragged up to the North East of England by a woman. :) :)

 

He had started photography properly at the age of 15 and had even been David Bowie's photographer on a gig.

 

Work and money wasn't so good for him up here in Newcastle but he just shrugged, and said he did what he could.

'Any advice for me?' I enquired.

'Take pictures of anything and everything that interests you...' he smiled.
