American Bald Eagle - Yellowstone, WY

Venturing through Yellowstone for my first time, day one I encountered this beautiful eagle perched in the distance.

He was surveying the river below, as I readied my gear, I only managed a couple shots and he was soon in flight, not to be seen again.
